Things get steamy in the designer-show world as Christian Louboutin sues Yves Saint Laurent Inc. for allegedly copying their famous red sole in the design of the "Palais" pump. YSL replies, they simply wanted an entirely red shoe (they also have a green version with green soles and a blue version with the same pattern).
Lawyers are calling this "Clash of the Titans" as the two immense shoe companies go at it.
I, personally adore both designer brands; although I confess to be biased to YSL because I own more of the latter.

Why the fuss? There is room in this world for more than one brand with red soles
